Michelle Thorne Moody, 64, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 in Laurinburg, North Carolina. She was born Nov. 6, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio. Michelle was a member of the last graduating class of Jackson High School in 1970. She was preceded in death by brother, Nathaniel Carter, Sr.; grandmother, Marie Hudson and father-in-law, James Moody.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Sylvester Moody; two children, LIVING; mother, Dolores D. Carter; three sisters, LIVING; brothers-in-law, LIVING; sister-in-law, LIVING along with numerous nephews, nieces and life long friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Corsicana with Rev. Dr. Robert Uzzel officiating. Interment to follow at Elm Flat Cemetery in Powell.
