Dorothy "Dot" Ann Evans, also known as "Mema" to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, 84 of Pleasant Grove, Alabama passed away September 22, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Evans; son, Mike Evans and son-in-law, Kenny Mallard. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Evans Mallard, Sheryl Evans Crumpton (Bob), Kim Evans Kane (Dan); daughter-in-law, Sharon Evans; grandchildren, Michael (Brooke) Evans, Evan (Tyler) Thrasher, Alexis (Chris) Williams, Clay (Justen) Crumpton, Meghan (Spencer) Handley, Kinsley (Michael) McCarrell, Amanda (Jeremy) Head, Clint (Emma) Crumpton, Dalton (Abigail) King; RaeAnn (Hunter) Hines, Sarah Kane, Annie Kane; great grandchildren, Raylee and Fisher Evans, Stella, Caroline and Rhett Thrasher, Bristol and Oliver Williams, Ella Jayne, Anna Leigh, Tara Lynn and Beau Crumpton, Amelia and Jeremiah Handley, Gracelyn, Easton and Denson McCarrell, Levi, Caleb, Andrew, Aaron and Maggie Head, Ezra and Silas Crumpton; brother, Charles Childs (Louise) and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and church family. Visitation will be Saturday, September 24, 2022 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God, 611 Pleasant Grove Rd, Pleasant Grove, AL. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Rev. Larry Turner and Rev. John White officiating.
