EPPING; Judith Hope Donovan, 60, passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of the late George H. and Virginia I. (Dicey) Kitchener of Brentwood. She was predeceased by her sister, Pamela A. Kitchener, and her husband of 18 years, Roger P. Donovan Jr. of Epping.

A resident of Epping for most of her life, Judy graduated from Epping High School. She worked as admissions officer at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood for 15 years and Russound in Newmarket for 16 years.

She loved entertaining, cooking and sharing recipes with friends. She enjoyed gardening and stained glass. She is admired for her courage and will be missed by many.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 8, from noon-2pm, at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter St., Newmarket. Private burial will take place at a later date in the Brentwood Cemetery.

Flowers are acceptable or should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Seacoast Cancer Center of Wentworth-Douglass.
