Teresa Lynn Mott was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on March 8, 1966. She was a miracle baby weighing in at just under 4lbs to parents Thomas and Linda McCormick. Teresa grew up with her sister Angie Brashier, in Muskogee ,Oklahoma where she later went to school to be a certified medical assistant.

At the age of 21 Teresa had her first son Skyler Parmeter. Like many firstborns, Skyler went through many first's with Teresa as she was a young mother and still figuring life out. In 1987, Teresa met James Mott and his son, Jason Mott. Teresa was a lead cashier and James was training to be a manager at Phillips 66. The term "don't fall for your boss" didn't apply to these two as they later fell in love and got married on June 30,1995 in Miami, Oklahoma.

The newlyweds decided they wanted a child together so here is where Amanda Mott came into their lives. They were content with three children however God decided three was not quite enough so he gave Teresa and James two OOPS babies, Brandi and Caterina Mott. Although this was a big curve ball for the young couple, Teresa and James made it look easy. So easy that they decided they wanted one more child to add to the gang, so Beau Mott made his arrival.

Teresa was a homemaker that always made sure her children were well taken care of. From going to late night ball games, early morning soccer practices, and sitting through long graduations to hosting bake sales, traveling from state to state for pig shows in the summer heat, and being a substitute teacher for White Oak Public Schools. Teresa was sure to tell all of her kids how proud of them she was as each one held a special place in her heart. She often had handmade presents for each holiday for the kids as well as grandkid's and even had burn marks on her fingers from the hot glue gun to prove it.

Much like hot glue, Teresa was the glue that held our big family together. She is survived by husband James Mott, Father Thomas McCormick, Step Mother Carol McCormick, Mother-In-Law Sue Crouse, sister Angie Brashier, kids; Skyler Parmeter, Jason Mott, Amanda Mott, Brandi Russell (Mott), Caterina Mott, and Beau Mott. She is reunited with her mother Linda McCormick and grandson Bentley Woods. Until we see you again, Mom. We love you.
