Funeral service will be held at Hart's Chapel on Cherry Street, Monday, September 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Daniel Smith officiating. The family will greet friends Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the World Wildlife Fund, 1250 24th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20037.
Daughter of the late Robert and Ann Burden Smith, Nancy was a 1976 graduate of Cochran Field High School and Mercer University. She was employed at Washington Library for 10 years. Nancy was a huge animal lover.
Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, James Smith.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Kenneth Daniel of Macon; son, Jason Daniel (Lindsay) of Clermont, Florida; brother, Daniel Smith of Kansas City, Missouri; and her beloved pet, Frodo.
