Elmer Berryman, 75, 929 E. Colonial Manor, died at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1995 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.

Born March 29, 1919 in Indian Fields, Ky., he was the son of Claud and Mary (Branham) Berryman. He married Marie Hayes on Jan. 21, 1946 and she survives. He was a retired employee of Delta Faucet Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church and the Greensburg VFW.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Vicki Butz of Greensburg; three brothers, Gilbert, Arthur and Earl Berryman, all of Mt. Sterling, Ky. He is preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Jessie Berryman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Newbury officiating.

Burial will be in South Park Cemetery and the VFW will hold graveside services.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
