Following an extended illness, Mrs. Anna M. Bauer, 82, of 905 Troy Road, Edwardsville, formerly of 605 South Church Street, died at her home at 10:48 o'clock Saturday morning.

Mrs. Bauerws born in Belleville February 14, 1872, and was a daughte of the late Theodore and Bernadine Hoeffken, nee Fust. She married Matthias [Mathew] Bauer in St. Peter's Cathedral May 9, 1900*. He died October 7, 1929.

Surviving are two daughters:

Agnes, wife of Clem Nitsche, 905 Troy Road, Edwardsville, Ill.
Miss Loretta Bauer, 605 South Church Street, Belleville, Ill.

... and two brothers:
August Hoeffken, 717 Caroline Street, Belleville, Ill.
Henry Hoeffken, 501 West Cleveland Street, Belleville, Ill.

Preceding her in death were:
... two sons, one daughter: Cletus, Maurice and Estelle

She was a member of the Perpetual Help Society of St. Peter's Cathedral.

Funeral services at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday from Renner-Geminn Funeral Home to St. Peter's Cathedral where the pastor, Msgr. Raymond L. Harbaugh, will officiate at services at 9 a.m. Burial in Green Mount Cemetery.
