Services for Horace J. Roberts, 42, of RD 1, will be at 1:30 p. m. Friday in the Campfield-Hickman Funeral Home, Barberton. Mr. Roberts died Tuesday at his home after a long illness. Born in Rocksdale, W. Va., he lived in the Doylestown-Barberton area 16 years. He was a 14-year employee of Babcock & Wilcox and retired a year ago. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Clinton. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Roberts leaves a son, Doyle of Cleveland; daughters, Mrs. Bernice McCowm of West Virginia and Evelyn of Barberton; mother, Mrs. Ruby Craddock of Grantsville, W. Va., sisters Mrs. Geraldine Sizemore of Barberton, Mrs. Wanda Sindledecker and Mrs. Pat Johns of Akron, Mrs. Juanita Conrad of Uniontown, Mrs. Ada Carpenter of Charleston, W. Va., and Mrs. Tressie Frasure of Flatwood, Ky.; half-brother, Clyde Craddock of Barberton, and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
