Joby was born on November 10, 1998 in Forsyth County to Andrew Joby, Sr. And Kimberly Diane Graham Barker. He was an avid Duke fan and enjoyed playing basketball. He loved playing Rocket League and doing escape rooms. He enjoyed the beach and going to the movies. Joby loved driving while listening to music on his bass booster subwoofers. He also enjoyed playing in the marching band during high school.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Betty Dull Barker.
Joby is survived by his loving parents, Joby and Kim Graham Barker; 3 brothers, Josh Barker, Jared Barker, and Jon Barker; paternal grandfather, A.J. Barker (Leigh); maternal grandparents, Larry and Brenda Graham; fiancé, Danielle Berube; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a 4:00 pm funeral service held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Hanes Baptist Church: 4210 Sabrina Lake Rd. Winston Salem, NC 27127, with Rev. Robby Faircloth officiating, Burial will follow at New Vision Church Cemetery: 4765 Hampton Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Hanes Baptist Church.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed, and facial coverings are required.
The family asks that you would allow them privacy to absorb what has happened in their life and to gather their thoughts to be able to handle the days and weeks ahead of them.
