Professional Football Player. For 9 seasons (1950-1958) he was a lineman for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). In his 9 year professional career he played in 135 consecutive games. He was a 5 time CFL All-Star and was added to the Stampeders Wall of Fame in 1992 and inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2012. Following his professional career he remained in Calgary and became coach of the Calgary Colts' junior football squad in 1965 before retiring to Nanaimo, B.C.
