Linda F. Augustine, age 75, a resident of Indian Village, Louisiana passed away September 20, 2022.
She was the retired owner of Kuntry's Interior Plant scaping where she used her love of plants to make many businesses throughout Southwest Louisiana and Texas an inviting environment.
She was "Big Mom" to her four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Linda loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hunting with her husband of 58 years along with her family.
She was a faithful member of Indian Village Baptist Church for 58 years where she served as choir director, church secretary, a member of the Finance Committee and wore many other hats to serve God.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Augustine of Kinder, LA, daughters, Melinda Ardoin (Brent) of Kinder, LA, Tammy Crain (Duncan) of Singer, LA, four grandchildren; Hannah Fontenot (Nathan), Garreth Ardoin (Kristen), Callie Crain, Wasey Crain, five great-grandchildren; Dean, Rhett, Hayes, D'Layne, Savannah, siblings; John Wesley LeBlanc (Ingrid), Norman LeBlanc (Dot), a host of family and friends. Linda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Wesley and Earline Lanier LeBlanc.
Family will receive friends 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Indian Village Baptist Church, 4062 LA 383. Visitation will continue from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2022, with the funeral service to start at 10:00 a.m. at, Indian Village Baptist Church, 4062 LA 383. Brother Kevin Willis and Brother E.J McCann will be officiating. Interment to follow at LeBlanc Cemetery, LeBlanc, Louisiana.
