Earl L. Carlton, 86 of Girard passed away peacefully at his home on September 19, 2022. He was born July 16, 1936 in Pekin, IL son of Ellis and Margaret (Schmidt) Carlton. He married Shirley Baucom in Washington, IL on June 26, 1970 and she survives his passing.
In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, he is survived by his children Linda (Carlton) Driscoll of Peoria, David Carlton and wife Candy of Pekin, Lisa (Carlton) Massinelli and husband Bret of Goveland, Debbie (Driscoll) Douglass and significant other Randy Oloughlin of Decatur, Sue (Driscoll) Fouts and husband Rance of Decatur and Tina (Driscoll) Blazier and husband Carl of Decatur; brother Art Carlton of Morton; sisters Fern Hudson of Creve Coeur and Beverly Murphy of Georgia, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, four sisters, sons Don Driscoll, Tim Driscoll and Terry Driscoll, daughter-in-law Gail Driscoll, grandson Earl Driscoll and great granddaughter Alyssa Webb.
Earl's wishes were to be cremated and have private services.
