Lucy Gisby (nee Harris) was a civilian casualty of WW2.

Lucy of 47 Middle Street, Deal, Kent, was the daughter of PATRICK & LUCY HARRIS (nee LOVE), and was the wife of PRIVATE WILLIAM GEORGE GISBY, serving with The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment) who was killed in the same incident as a result of an enemy air attack at at The Old Victory public house at 36 Middle Street.

Sadly their young son WILLIAM also perished in the same air attack. The family were laid to rest together at HAMILTON ROAD CEMETERY (DEAL) and at the time of her passing Lucy was 22 years of age.
