Buck was born in Washington, Georgia on September 16, 1958. He was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County and attended Thomson High School. He worked at Two State for over 20 years and retired as a superintendent. Buck was Baptist by faith and was known for helping others. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wood working and working on cars. Buck's greatest passion was his children and grandchildren.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents Richard Anderson and Mary Grace Walker Anderson and his sisters, Christine Chaney and Sherrie Lovvorn.
His survivors include his devoted wife of 44 years, Noreen Rowland Anderson; his son, Bobby Anderson of Thomson, GA, his daughter, Becky McGhee (Marcus) of Martinez, GA; the children of heart, Tiffany Gregg and Jason Manning; his brothers, John Anderson and Joe Anderson of Thomson, GA; his sister, Gloria Barton of Graniteville, SC; and his grandchildren, Madelyn McGhee, Reagan McGhee and Luke McGhee.
