Anthony "Tony" Garcia, age 56, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, .as a result of injuries in an unintentional fall down a flight of stairs in the house.
He met his "domestic partner" Mary Ann Nelson in August 2008. Most recently he worked for Eventis, Kato Cab and Midwest Wireless. Tony loved all music, playing, listening, sharing, and composing. He enjoyed time with his family, working his VW Vanagan, watching the LA Dodgers, and everything Los Angeles.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille (Arroyo) Garcia in 2005.
Tony is survived by Mary Ann Nelson, sons, Anthony Austin Garcia and Andrew Lucas Garcia; stepchildren, Jackie, Rachael, and Henry Nelson. He is also survived by his Father, Anthony Garcia; and seven sisters, Claudia (Michael); Sylvia, Antonette, Christine, Geralyn (George), Luanne (Eric); and Adrienne; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 1100 AM Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Dean Wolf officiating. Visitation will from 9-1100 AM at the Mankato Mortuary. Interment will be in the Mizpah Cemetery, Platteville, Colorado. Donations may be made to the Tony Garcia Memorial Fund at US Bank, Mankato, Minnesota.
