Barbara was a phenomenal wife, mother and friend who lived for her family and friends. The love for her children and grandchildren knew no bounds and she loved doing special things for them. To know her was to love her and if you had her as a friend, you had a true treasure. Barbara retired from the Jacksonville Housing Authority as its Deputy Director. Barbara was a faithful member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived her children son, Darin Boyd (Terri) of Cabot, Arkansas; daughter Angela Coursey (Eugene "Bubba") of Bloomingdale, Georgia; grandchildren Jackson Boyd (Camille), Gavin Boyd, Kevin Coursey (Nicki), Ashley Aeger (Joey), five great-grandchildren; sister Janet Williams of Cabot, Arkansas, sisters-in-law Irma Barrett, Betty Boyd, Judy Boyd, Phyllis Boyd, Annette Hammons (Johnny) and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Sammy Joe Jackson and Una Dell Edwards.
