Laura Lou (Lambert) Skinner was born on August 20, 1956 to Arlin Louis and Lou Ella (Folsom) Lambert in Memphis, Tennessee. She passed away on September 14, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Survivors include her son; Gabriel Skinner and Lisa McCall of Joplin, Missouri; her precious granddaughter, Avery Skinner; Dusty Skinner of the home; brother, Lonnie Lambert and wife, Marilyn of Houston, Texas; sister-in-law, Linda Lambert of Eustis, Florida. Laura is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Arlin and Lou Ella Lambert; brothers Arlin "Skip" Lambert and Shawn Lambert.

Laura attended Stigler High School but graduated from U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City in 1974. She earned an Associate's Degree at Oscar Rose Community College and went on to attain a Bachelor's Degree. She was a Baptist. Laura enjoyed sewing, music, playing guitar and was an avid Atlanta Braves and OU Sooner fan. She also enjoyed riding bikes, playing basketball and throwing frisbee. Laura retired from Sagenet and was responsible for selling and deploying broadband services for customers in and around the Tulsa area. She was also a member of the Broken Arrow Elks Club.

Graveside services for Laura will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022, 11:00am at Garland Cemetery in Stigler, OK with Fr. Sean O'Brien officiating.
