Debra "Deedles" Louise Holland, 65, of Frederick, MD was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 18, 2018 at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Debra was born August 22, 1952 to Betty Ambush and the late Linward Ambush, Sr. She was the wife of Robert T. Holland for 45 years before his passing.

Debra graduated from Frederick High School in 1970. She was a valued employee for State Farm Insurance Company for many years. She also worked for BP Solar and retired from the Goodwill Industries.

She enjoyed playing bingo and watching basketball, especially her favorite basketball player, LeBron James. However, her major enjoyment in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Debra is survived by: two daughters, Tara Holland and Tia Holland; five grandsons, Dereck Holland, Devin Butler, Derren Holland, Ta'von Dove and Treve Dove; two granddaughters, Aikilah Forbes and Tenia Dove two great granddaughters, Jordyn Giles-Holland and Layla Holland; twin brother, Linward "Sam" Ambush, Jr.; nine aunts, Thelma Ambush (Leo), Margaret Bell, Jean Carroll, Kathleen Wars (Charles), Lucille Weedon (Lee), Inathia Gray, Gladys Onley (Charles), Teresa Potter-Bey (Erik), Shirley Ambush; four uncles, Oliver Gray (Mary), James Gray (Annette), Leo Ambush (Thelma), and John Ambush; three sisters-in-law, Kay Pinkett, Brenda Fletcher (Wayne), and Wanda Pitts (Solomon); one Goddaughter, Kendra Hall; devoted friend, Helen Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Debra was preceded in death by: her son, Robert "Mayo" Holland and sister, Carolyn Ambush Imes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Holland will be at Jackson Chapel UMC, 5609 Ballenger Creek Pk, Frederick, MD on Tues., June 26, with wake at 9:30 AM, family hour at 10:00 AM and services at 11 AM. Pastor Luke J. Robinson officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.garylrollinsfuneralhome.com.
