Jennifer G. Ball, age 47, currently residing in Anderson, passed away on July 22, 2022, at Community Hospital Anderson, after a hard, trying life-long battle with diabetes. She was born on October 27, 1974, in Waynesburg, VA to Tom Ward and Laura (Forte) Shaw.

Jennifer was a saint in every sense of the word. She homeschooled her children for 10 years, planning to continue throughout their entire education. Earlier in life she worked in the dental field for many years. Her family describes her as sweet, generous, and kind. Simply a good person. She met her husband Joe in Virginia Beach during his military stint, and they have resided in Indiana ever since. Jennifer was a wonderful mom and loved to spend all her time with her children. She was a recipe guru and an excellent cook. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jennifer is survived by her husband of 25 years, Julius "Joe" Ball; children Jackson and Drake Ball; sister Susan Smith (Keith); half-sisters Aundrea Wiley and Alexis Miller; parents Tom Ward and Laura Shaw; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Darlene Poole (Clyde) and father-in-law Julius "Joe" Ball (Donna); aunt Linda Grey Wood; Grandmother Ramona Forte; and brothers-in-law Shawn Ball and Drew Ball.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Julia Ball, several aunts, and uncles. Grandpa Bud Forte, and her paternal grandparents.

Per her wishes, cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
