Aubrey Hagerman, 78, Baldwin City, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, at a Baldwin City care center.

Mr. Hagerman was a farmer and dairyman in the Vinland community.

He was born Sept. 18, 1921, on a farm east of Vinland, the son of Clarence Alvin and Viola Kate Nichols Hagerman.

Mr. Hagerman was active in the annual Vinland Fair.

He married Betty Jean Hicks on Dec. 8, 1942. She died Feb. 5, 1986. He married Ruth Mabel Hadl Heinrich on Sept. 26, 1987. She survives.

Survivors also include a stepson, Carl Heinrich, Baldwin City; a stepdaughter, Linda Heinrich Pritchard, Lawrence; a sister, Lila Hagerman Watkins, Baldwin City; eight step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
