Robert "Bob" Pfister was born on June 9, 1931 in the city of Sheboygan to the late Alois and Anna Pfister and found peace on December 2, 2014 at the age of 83. He attended Sheboygan Central High School before serving in the United States Army from 1952 until 1954. After his discharge from the Army he was united in marriage with Melba on September 4, 1954. During his working years he was employed by the oil refinery in Sheboygan before going to work for the County of Sheboygan which he retired from in 1989.
Robert is survived by his son, Daniel (Barbara) Pfister of Sheboygan Falls; daughter Sandra Pfister of Woodbury, MN; two grandsons Gregory (Jamie) Pfister of Rochester, MN and Shawn (Merritt) Pfister of Manitowoc; great-grandson Cameron and brother, Rudy (Alice) Pfister of West Allis. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Melba; daughter, Susan and brother, William (Mary) Pfister.
Visitation will be held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St. Sheboygan, on Saturday, December 6, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at 12:00 P.M. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
