Does anyone know where Joseph is buried? Some records show he was born in 1829.

Joseph Edward William Blinn was the son of Harvey Blinn (1791-1829) and Jemima Losier (1791-1829), who married 31 Aug 1821 at a Dutch Reformed Church in New York. The Blinn family has been in the United States since the 1600s, originally settling in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Harvey (some records show Hervy) died while in quarantine due to yellow fever. He was the son of Solomon and Desire Blinn.

Joseph married Mary Eveline (Evelyn?) Stevenson (1833-1899) on 03 May 1853 at Brazoria County, Texas. Joseph and Mary were the parents of nine known children, namely:

1. Mary Caroline Blinn (1854-1857)
2. Harvey Stevenson Blinn (1856-1934)
3. Eveline Bell Blinn Federhart (1858-1912)
4. Sarah Catherine Blinn Steinpfad (1861-1941)
5. Irenaeus Prime Blinn (1863-1950)
6. Cornelia Dunlap Blinn (1866-1958)
7. Joseph Edward Blinn (1869-1962)
8. Lucy Emily Blinn Bayless (1871-1955)
9. Martha Hayford Blinn Bayless (1878-1947)

In 1860 the family was living near Columbia, Brazoria County, Texas with the second and third children. Between 1866 and 1869 the family moved to Illinois. In 1870 the parents (father listed as John (sic) E., a farmer), Hiram (sic, Harvey), Belle, Kate, Israel (sic, Irenaeus), Dora (Cornelia) and Elijah (sic, Edward) were living at Union County, Illinois.
