Daniel "Dan" Joseph Wise, Cushing resident, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the age of 49 years.
The son of Dorothy Wise and the late Manny Santos, Dan was born on May 20, 1964 in Turlock, California, where he was also raised and educated, graduating from Turlock High School.
Dan was united in marriage to Sherri Hensley on March 23, 2010 in Stillwater; the couple had been together since 1984.
Dan was a hard working, loving man. He loved to spend time with his family and care for them in whatever way they needed; he loved the outdoors, he enjoyed mowing and working with tractors. He had worked for Ahrberg Mill for the past 4 years; he was a hard worker and loved his job. Dan was also a member of E Clampus Vitus in California.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri, of the home; his mother, Dorothy Wise of California; four daughters, Verna Miller and her husband Randy, Virgina Dinwiddie, Vanessa Pearson and her husband Larry and Danyel McKinstry and her husband David, all of Cushing; eight grandchildren, Jimmy, Brittaney, Timothy, Crissa, Alaskha, LJ, John Henry, Taylynn and Zack; one brother, Darryl B Wise; long time friends, Anthony & Wendy Cochran and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, Dan was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Layla Pearson and one sister, Teresa Wade.
Memorial services will be Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Davis Memorial Chapel.
