Garlan L. Key of Salinas died Saturday at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 75.
A native of Stephenville, Texas, he had been a resident of Salinas for 29 years and was employed by the Bank of America for 47 years before his retirement.
He was a past member and 50-year member of the Mobeetie Lodge No. 972 and the F. and A.M. in Mobeetie, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Esther L. Key of the family home; one daughter Delia Key of the family home; and one son, Louis Key of Reno, Nev.
Graveside services were held today at the Garden of Memories.
Officiating was the Rev. Doug Small, pastor of the Church of God.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Healey Mortuary Chapel.
