Glenn J Eoff was the son of Floyd Emmett Eoff and Elizabeth Stephan, the former a native of Missouri and the latter of Illinois. Glenn's brothers and sisters were Charles L Eoff, Betty Bernice (Eoff) Webster, Norma Eoff, Donald Ray Eoff (d.y.), Marjorie (Eoff) Foglesong and Emma Lou (Eoff) Williams.

Glenn was killed in action on Christmas day in 1944. Four years later his body was brought home for burial. He was buried on Christmas day, December 25, 1948 to lie with his family members in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Glenn enlisted September 21, 1943 in Leavenworth, Kansas as a private. He held the rank of staff sergeant at time of death. He was twenty years old.
