Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and one of the original volunteers at Baylor Medical Center of Grapevine. She was the oldest active member of First Baptist Church of Grapevine. She even has a Sunday school class named after her. And after her husband's death, she went back to school in 1995 and received her GED.
Burial will be in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Survivors include her son, Wade C. Howard Jr., a daughter, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
