Diana Margaret (Baade) Hodson of Post Falls, Idaho, was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Eugene, Ore., to Clifford Allen and Margaret (Cheramy) Baade. She passed away Sept. 1, 2022, at the age of 71, from Leukemia in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

On Nov. 10, 1979, she married Curtis James Hodson in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Curt and Diana were married for 29 years until his death in 2008. When she married Curt, she became a wonderful stepmother to his two children, Erik and Matthew.

Diana enjoyed cross-stitch, rosemaling, sudoku, taking care of her flowers, going to the movies with family and friends, being a wife to Curt and mother to their two children, Ian and Brett. She loved spending time with her family including her step-grandchildren: Tristan, Evan and Zada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Ian Clifford Hodson.

She is survived by her brother, Edward Baade, her sisters, Denise (Ed) Joki and Cindy Baade, all of Post Falls, Idaho, and a son, Brett Curtis Hodson of Spokane, Wash.

A viewing will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at English Funeral Home in Post Falls from noon until 2 p.m. A celebration of Diana's life will be held following the visitation.
