ELMER S. FRANKLIN-- Elmer S. Franklin, 68, Aurora, died July 3, 1990, at the Aurora hospital after a long illness. The son of Mae and Benjamin Franklin, he was born at Mountain Grove and grew up there He was a Navy veteran of WW II, and worked at General Motors, in Kansas City, for more than 30 years. Survivors include: two sisters, Irene Bennett, of Macomb, and Barbara Bond, of Kansas City, Kan., ; four brothers, Clifford of Nevada, George of Salina, Kan., Rex of Aurora, and Roy of Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Chapel, at Mountain Grove with the Rev. Jack Holland officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Valley Cemetery, north of Mountain Grove.
Note: Son of Benjamin Raymon and Lillie Mae Robinett Franklin.
