Ms. Dovie Iva Clark, age 93, of Winnsboro passed away Thursday May, 11, 2006. She was born in Wood County on July 16, 1912 to the late Rob and Mellie Boyd Sanford. She was the former owner of Pleasant Grove Grocery Store, a member of Gaston Oaks Baptist church in Dallas, she was a retired clerk for Minyards Grocery Store. She lived in Dallas for fourty years until her return to Wood County in 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John "Buster" Sanford, Verdie Sanford, Jimmy Sanford; sisters Lee McNair, and Dilmon Foster. She is sruvived by one son and one daughter-in-law, Charles Max and Sunny Clark of Colorado Springs, CO; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Martha Sue and Edward Arizpe of Weatherford, TX, Kathy "Glenda" and Jerry Bennett of Weatherford, TX, Leta Miller of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Bryan Johnson, Carolyn Johnson, Chuck Clark, Melody Feaster, Stacy Bennett Johnson, Tamara Brookover; two step-grandchildren, Ronald and Mitchell Arizpe; 11 great grandchdildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and 5 step-great grandchildren.
