Mrs. Cora Alliton Hoenshell was born April 26, 1868, and died Oct. 11, 1903, aged 35 years, 5 months, 11 days. She was married to Mr. J. Hoenshell Dec. 28, 1887. They lived in Owosso until three years ago when they moved into Butman township.
She leaves a husband, five children, one of whom is a girl, a father, mother, two sisters and a brother, besides a host of friends to mourn her loss. She was a consistent Christian and in the last hours she found that the Master was with her even in the shadow of death. The last sickness of Mrs. Hoenshall was of short duration.
One week ago last Saturday she left home to visit friends, and relatives in Owosso and was taken ill on the train. She had only been away from her home eight days when she passed away.
The funeral service was held in Owosso. Her remains were brought to Gladwin for interment. The service at the grave were conducted by Rev. O. F. Bulman. The High Ridge Arbor of the order of Gleaners also participated in the service at the grave.
