In 1945, Vera moved to Longmont, Colorado with her family where she attended and graduated Longmont High School. Throughout her younger years, she enjoyed spending time with her sisters, family and large circle of friends. After graduating high school, she returned to Kimball, Nebraska. While working in Kimball, Vera met Wayne Graham. She would walk past the garage where he worked and eventually they began dating. On December 27th, 1950 Vera and Wayne were married at the Catholic Church in Kimball. Vera and Wayne went on to raise their 3 sons, Gary, Rick and Mike and their daughter Barbara. They spent time in Nebraska, Illinois, Colorado and Utah, and in 1982 they moved to Loveland, Colorado where they remained. Vera enjoyed gardening, puzzles, the mountains and her family. She was an avid Broncos fan and a season ticket holder for almost 50 years. Throughout the years, Vera was a positive and meaningful influence in the daily lives of her children, grandchildren, as well as her great grandchildren. Strong, loyal, and dependable were a few of the attributes Vera portrayed. Vera never had a shortage of kind smiles, warm embraces, a kleenex in her pocket or a tic tac in her purse. She loved with her whole heart and touched so many people whom she came into contact with. She had an innate ability to connect with everyone she crossed paths with, even those she never met.

Vera is proceeded into death by her sons, Gary and Rick, Parents Anna and Alfred, Sisters Lucille, Verna and Helen.
She is survived by her Husband Wayne, Son, Daughter, Daughter in-laws, three Grandchildren, six Great Grandchildren, and two sister.
Her quick wit, fighting spirit and caring disposition will be missed dearly by all those who knew her.
