Betty was born October 31, 1932, in Surry County, NC to the late Bill and Alice Tucker. She loved the Lord, and her family; she was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed flowers. Betty was a faithful member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in King.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her faithful husband, Neil Boyles, five brothers: Calvin, Clevo, Melvin, Clyde, Rex, and two sisters: Verda Mae and Jo Ann.
She is survived by her sister Carolyn of Mt. Airy, two sons: Phillip Boyles and wife Sharon of Denver, NC, Stephen Boyles and girlfriend Cheryl Betts of Ponce De Leon, FL, grandson, Wesley Boyles and wife Payton, great-grandchildren: Briggen, Quinley, and Kaplan, of Taylorsville, NC, three sisters-in-law: Wilma, Hazel, and Barbara, all of Surry County, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., July 16, 2022, at Mt Olive Baptist church in King, with Rev. Bryan Gough officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the caregivers and staff of Priddy Manor and Mountain Valley Hospice Caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church General Fund: 8413 NC Hwy. 66 South, King, NC 27021.
