She married Stephen C Elder December 3, 1827 and to this union 11 children were born: Cerena Caroline (Mrs Joshua Jenkins), Alfred P, John Wesley, Squire Griffin, Elijah Winfield Scott, Mary Josephine (Mrs J R Sage), Franklin Pierce, Martha Ann (Mrs Charles Maddy), Emily Jane (Mrs Samuel Bonebrake), Henry Harrison and James E. Ann resided in Kentucky, Johnson and Brown county, Indiana and Marion county, Iowa. Ann died January 16, 1893 and was buried at Concord cemetery.
