EX-LORAINE MAN, W. T. RONE, DIES
Graveside rites for Mr. Rone, who resided In Leland, Mississippi were held at 4 p. m. Sunday
at the Loraine Cemetery, with the Reverend James McKee, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. The Loraine quartette furnished the music.
Mr. Rone was born June 29, 1896. He married Eula Bell Garrett January 22, 1920. She preceded
him In death In 1933. He was a veteran of World War I and lived in Mitchell County from the early 1920’s to 1936.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Vernon Ward of Leland, Mississippi , five sisters,
Mrs. R. H. McDaniel of Loraine, Mrs. C S Crockett and Mrs. A. T. Crockett, both of Brownwood,
Miss. Minnie and Miss. Lizzie Rone, both of Cross Plains; one brother, J. R. Rone of Cross
Plans, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews, Rex, Delmar, Mike McDaniel, Clayton and Foy Crockett, and
a cousin, Olen Lee.
