Lois Hilliard Arrington passed away on February 14, 2008 at Ayers Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was 88 years old. Lois was born on May 8, 1919 in Bell, FL to Barney & Virgie Hilliard. She was a lifelong resident of the area. Lois retired from the Culinary Department of the Levy County School System. At age 60 she returned to school to received her GED. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her son David Arrington, 2 daughters; Betty Watson & Evelyn Arrington and her husband G.W. Arrington.

She is survived by her husband Clyde H. Arrington of Trenton, FL, daughter; Wilma Jean Asbell of Bronson, FL, son; Wayne (Rita) Arrington of Trenton, FL, step-sister; Katherine Williams of Gainesville, FL, 10 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Douglas and Reverend Larry Seymour conducting the service. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties, 311 N.E. 9th Street, Chiefland, FL 32626 or to the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 16655 N.W. CR 339, Trenton, FL 32693.
