Frank Joseph Badker was born May 23, 1880 at Pittsford, Butler County, Iowa to parents Henry Frederick Badker and Ida Marie Francis Price (Pruess). Frank was the sixth of their 10 children. His siblings were: Henry William Botker, Ida Marie Badker, Wilhelmina, Augusta Marie, William Frederick, Emma Marie, Oscar, Cora Martha and Iona Hulda.

Frank married Etta Martha Carothers on June 10, 1904 at Garner, Hancock, Iowa.

The couple had 11 children:
Helen May (born July 1904 Minnesota, married Paul Everett Sewrey 1930, died March 9, 1948 Los Angeles, California);

George Lewis (born June 24, 1906 Minnesota, married Florence Mary Dargan March 1931, died March 11, 1992 Osage, Mitchell, Iowa);

Found in the 1905 census at Foxhome, Wilken, MN. with wife and daughter Helen. Either they lived with or near his uncle and aunt William and Jennie Badker as they are before Frank's family on the census papers. Both men are farmers.

Margaret Ione is living w/ him as is her son Walter Harold who is listed as a Badker but should be Hagan.

Frank Joseph Badker died May 23, 1935 at Renville, Minnesota, possibly from an accident involving train cars in Renville, MN. He is buried at the Grandview Cemetery, Gary, Deuel, South Dakota.
