Last rites for Mrs. Alice Missouri Williams, age 83, were held at Red Hill Baptist Church, 12 miles east of Duck Hill at 2:00 p. m. Sunday, with Rev. C. J. Hindman of Memphis, conducting.
Mrs. Williams died in Memphis January 15th, following a brief illness. In 1875, the deceased was wed to C. A. Carson, and following his death married Earl Williams. She was born in Greenville, S. C., on May 19, 1859.
Surviving the deceased are: Four daughters, Mrs. A. Y. Oglesby of Minter City, Mrs. W. D. Pullen of Kilmichael, Mrs. J. P. Emerson of Lodi, and Mrs. I. S. Hunt of Memphis; five sons, C. D. Carson of Coffeeville, L. A. Carson of Denver, Colorado, H. L., J. E. and A. W. Carson of Memphis; and fifty-five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of Oliver Funeral Home.
