Pamela Minor Norton, age 79, died September 9, 2022.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park with the Reverend Robby Kerr officiating. The family will greet friends Monday, September 12, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street.

She was born in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Alvord Minor and Constance Minor Rachels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Fred Minor, sister Sandra Pelton, and her husband of 44 years, Tommy Norton.

Survivors are her daughter Terri Norton Jones, son Michael "Andy" Norton, both of Macon, brother, Tim (LaRue) Minor of Macon, granddaughters Mandy Miller of Chicago, Jessica (Aaron) Smith of Yorktown, Virginia, Heather Norton of Edmonton, Alberta, Hayley Jones of Macon, great-grandchildren Jill and AJ Smith of Yorktown, Virginia, special "family" member Pete Miller of Newport News, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews.

Pam graduated from McEvoy High School in 1961. She attended the Macon Hospital School of Nursing and went on to graduate with honors from Rhode Island Community College with a degree in Nursing. She worked as a CCRN for sixteen years in Rhode Island, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia. In 1987,she graduated with honors from Georgia College with a BBA in Accounting. She worked as a CPA before retiring from Central Georgia Health System in 2008.

Pam's lifelong dream was fulfilled after she retired when she was cast in Counsellor at Law at Theatre Macon. She went on to appear in many other performances at Theatre Macon, Macon Little Theatre, the Rose Theater in Forsyth, and the Warner Robins Little Theater. Aside from community theater, Pam's greatest passion was travel. She traveled extensively with her husband Tommy and continued after he died. Now she is off on s new adventure.

compassion over the past several weeks.
