Ida's parents were James Hawthorne Foy and Elmer Bettina Brady.

I met Ida in Jerusalem in 1994. We had so much fun and we had many adventures. I went home and Ida stayed another ten years. She lived often among the Palestinians and was much loved by them. She also worked for a Jewish tour bus agency. She had great contacts with people in the Land. She never met a stranger!

I saw her a few times over the years but talked to her on the phone frequently, like daily during tough times in my life. She wrote the most encouraging and uplifting letters about her adventures and her wonderful Lord Jesus!

I wanted to make a memorial for her just because she should be remembered. I know she is famous in heaven!
