Jacob Cressman "was born in Limerick County [sic--presumably, Limerick Township, Montgomery County], Pennsylvania, March 6th, 1774. He was married to Elizabeth Longenecker who was born August 10th, 1778, and died May 3rd, 1858. They resided in Wilmot Township near the Schmidt [Schmitt*] Mennonite Meeting House where he died July 8th, 1833.
