Mary Evelyn Gentry, daughter of the late Eugene and Liza Ann Walker Gentry, departed this life on May 13, 2022, after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by Vernita Jones Gentry, Loretta Richardson, and an aunt, Malvina Walker.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and served as a choir member since 1980 and the Women's Missionary.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Cory Tyreed Gentry and Jordan Jackson, both of Richmond, Kentucky; granddaughter, Aniyha Gentry; daughter-in-law, Whitney Edwards; siblings, Shirley Gentry Floyd of Aurora, Colorado, Sherri Gentry of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Gary (Mildred) Gentry of Crestview, Kentucky, Charles Gentry, and James Gentry, both of Richmond, Kentucky; and other relatives and friends.
