Mrs. Flora A. Douglass, 80 past, wife of A. T. Douglass, well-known retired local businessman, died last Thursday evening at 5:15 o'clock at the Good Samaritan hospital, Dayton, where she had been a patient since March 6. Death was due to the infirmities of age.
Funeral was conducted from the Kramer funeral chapel Sunday afternoon by Rev. L. L. Young, pastor of the Methodist church, followed by burial in Roselawn cemetery.
Mrs. Douglass was a member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star.
Surviving, besides the husband, are two sons, Herbert and Richard of Lewisburg; three brothers, Melvin Black of near Cleveland, Abraham Black of Wabash, Ind., and Edward Black of West Alexandria; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A son, Owen, and a daughter, Edna, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Douglass was a native of West Alexandria and a daughter of David and Mary Ann Black.
She had lived in and near Lewisburg for approximately 60 years.
