Gregory V Wooten entered eternal rest on May 16, 2022. He was 66 years old. He graduated from McKinley High School in 1973 and that same year he enlisted in the US Navy. Gregory loved to cook and play dominos. Gregory is survived by his son Devan (Katrina) Wooten, 4 grandchildren 3 brothers, Claude, Ken and Jerome Wooten and 4 sisters, Carla and Kathleen Wooten, Suzanne (Byron) Honore', Suzette (Ronnie) Allen and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelton and Thelma Vicks Wooten, paternal grandparents Henry Wooten and Georgia Whitten Wooten and maternal grandparents Bennie Vicks and Charlotte Sterling Vicks. The Viewing, Friday, May 27, 2022 (11:00am-12:00pm) and the Funeral (12:00pm -1:00pm) will be held at Nazarene Baptist Church, 1707 Spanish Town Rd., Baton Rouge La. The Funeral will be closed casket. The Burial will be in the Louisiana National Cemetery, 303 Mount Pleasant Zachary Rd, Zachary LA at 2:00pm. Mask Required.
