Dennis was most proud of his family and faith life. He married Annette Barczykowski on June 17, 1972 and their two sons came a few years after that. He was a huge proponent of education and made sure the boys always had access to the best schools possible and pushed them to give their very best in whatever they were pursuing. Late in life, Dennis was pleased to welcome two wonderful daughters-in-law and six grandchildren.
Dennis was active in his community as a member of the Knights of Columbus and the ACTS groups at St. Patrick Church in Wentzville. He was on the Board for his Homeowners Association, worked for the OASIS Organization helping Seniors with computer concerns, and was also an organ donor for Mid-America Transplant Society.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Allie Vere Flinn. He is survived by his wife, Annette; sons Sean (daughter-in-law, Erin Ashley) of Nichols Hills, Oklahoma, Aaron (daughter-in-law, Elizabeth) of Brentwood, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Patrick, Ryan, Hannah, Abigail, Ollie, Waylon Flinn; his sister Johanna (brother-in-law, Edward) Keyser of Jefferson City, Missouri; brother-in-law Robert (sister-in-law, Tarry) Barczykowski of St. Louis, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other treasured family members and friends.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday February 12, 2022, at St. Patrick's Church, Wentzville Missouri, followed by interment in St. Patrick's Columbarium on the grounds.
