Daughter of John Montgomery Black and Juanita Mae Black. She graduated from Southwest Dekalb High School, class of 1957. She retired from Kraft Foods, where she was the first female sales representative in Kraft's SE Region. She taught scrap booking classes for several years at Fernbank in Atlanta, GA, as a creative memories consultant. Genealogy was a personal hobby for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Robert Black. Surviving are her her life partner of 38 years, Lynda Dianne (Pittman) Twilley; and sister, Linda (Black) Harris.
