He retired in 2001 from General Motors, Defiance, Ohio. He was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where he served on the usher board.
Survivors include his beloved wife and friend, Diane Suttle of Fort Wayne; mothers, Sadie Suttle and Willie Mae Hardin, both of Fort Wayne; daughters, De'Aynne Traccie Suttle and Angel Lynn Suttle, both of Fort Wayne and Arica (Chad) Bates of Atlanta, Ga.; sons, Tramell King and Brandon McLemore, both of Fort Wayne; sisters, Mary L. (Lee) Green, Julia A. Parker and Les Patricia Wattley, all of Fort Wayne; brother, Frankie Suttle of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Adanis Michael Suttle of Fort Wayne, Darrian and Jasmin Bates, both of Atlanta, Ga., and Kei Martin of Buford, Ga.; aunt, Reathea Winfield of Fort Wayne; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Suttle; and grandmother, Mary Louise Abercrombie.
Service is 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S. Anthony Blvd., with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Jeffrey E. Geisler and Pastor Steven Ensley officiating.
Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave.
Resting place will be Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
