ASHLEY'S OBITUARY
We are saddened to announce the death of Ashley Groover Pierson on May 15, 2022.
Ashley was born on May 25, 1989. We have lost her at the tender age of 32 due to her losing her battle to the demon of addiction. Ashley was the daughter of Bonnie Ross Groover Watkins and Samuel Groover. (estranged)
Ashley was a 2007 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School. She especially enjoyed her classes in history with Mr. Molinaro-Thompson. Ashley enjoyed owning, driving, and working on cars..especially Hondas..that all had to be manual shifts..going to car shows, and discussing cars, politics, and the meaning of life. She was also an enthusiast of astrology and spiritual connections.
Surviving are her son, Jaxon Robert Pierson, her sisters, Hannah Groover Warner (Mike) and Devon Jones. also surviving are her maternal uncle Mark Ross, aunts Tracey Ross, Shawn Urcho, Maureen (Renny) Sharratt and many other uncles and cousins. Also surviving are multiple paternal aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are her uncle Robert Ross, aunts JoAnn Smith, Patty Stutzman, Corrine Nichol, Sherry Stroko, and Dierdre Palmer, along with her maternal grandparents, Robert and JoAnn Ross and paternal grandparents Tobe and Ruth Groover.
Bonnie and Hannah would like to thank Erin Moore Minick for the help she gave getting us through this difficult time..she has been a Godsend.
I would also like to add, to anyone still battling or know anyone battling addiction, please get help. It is only a matter of time before it gets you, too. Our hearts go out to all addicts out there. And to the families of addicts, please be patient and love them unconditionally. Do research on addiction and keep an open heart; it helps tremendously to understand them better. Hannah and I did all we possibly could to help Ash, but it was not meant to be.
There will be a celebration of Ashley's life on June 5th, 2022 at her mom's house at 307 2nd Street Vestaburg Pa 15368.
