Lieutenant Alexander Abraham Solomon was a distinguished Officer with The Canadian Grenadier Guards who sadly was killed in action while serving as a Platoon commander with the 87th Battalion (Canadian Grenadier Guards) CEF during WW1.

1917 – 15 August – Reported missing in action (MIA) but confirmed Killed in Action on 19 September
