He was born March 25, 1903 in Decatur County, Ind., the son of Joseph and Catherine Wolters Duerstock. He had been a self employed farmer all his life, and was a member of the Knights of St. John in Millhousen.
On Oct. 17, 1931, he married Hilda J. Feldman and she preceded him in death Jan. 11, 1989. He is survived by three sons, Jerry, Arthur and Robert Duerstock, all of Greensburg; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
One brother, William Duerstock, and one sister, Rosa Redelman, preceded him in death.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Church with Msgr. Thomas Bosler officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.
Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Millhousen, Ind.
There will be an evening prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
