Our beloved Grace was born on May 30, 1949 in Murray, Utah to Mike and Arta LeFevre Sorich. She passed away on January 31, 2008 after a year long courageous fight against Cancer.

Grace graduated from the old Bingham High School in Copperton and from the Stevens Henager College in accounting. She was employed at JC Penney Co. in the accounting department for 39 1/2 years. Her co-workers became her dearest friends and second family. Grace was an expert at crocheting afghans. Covertly she would discover the favorite color of a friend or family member and then proceed to crotchet a beautiful custom afghan as a gift. Nearest and dearest to Grace was her son, Bill, who she loved more than words can express. Her life was an excellent example of kindness, caring, generosity, and unconditional love.

Grace is survived by her son, William Buist; father, Mike Sorich; brothers, Michael (Kathryn) Sorich; Paul (Linda) Sorich; nephews, David (Lara), Jonathan, Jeffrey, Mark (Terri) Sorich; niece, Angela (Jonathon) Vredeveld; great-niece, Matilda Anne Sorich. Preceded in death by her mother, Arta Sorich; niece, Amelia Anne Sorich.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 S. Redwood Road. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2008 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. following the Visitation.
